Who You Are

We're seeking a results-drivenBusiness Development Manager who excels in identifying and creating new business opportunities, managing client portfolios, and ensuring a smooth and efficient setup process. Your role involves conducting meetings to understand client needs and presenting tailored recommendations. With a focus on driving sales through up-selling, cross-selling, and attending networking events, you will also manage partner relationships and provide strategic insights to the marketing team. This position demands excellent communication skills (particularly with C-suite), strategic thinking, adaptability, and the the ability to learn quickly as we help you developa thorough understanding of the business setup industry.

What You’ll Do:

  • You willmanage incoming leads and conduct meetings in person and online with potential clients to fully understand their business needs and present the appropriate setup/expansion plan.

  • You will identify new business opportunities, including new clients, markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.

  • You willpresent tailored recommendations to leads based on their business activities, requirements, and market opportunities.

  • You willassess and prepare all required documentation for the business setup process.

  • You will manage the client portfolio to ensure high customer satisfaction and promote referrals.

  • You will maintain the CRM and all internal systems updated.

  • You will be aware of changes to government policies, regulations, processes, etc., and anything that may affect the efficiency of the setup process.

  • You will apply client knowledge and opportunity management to craft high-impact solutions for clients.

  • You willliaise with the client to keep them informed of the status and progress of their application, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.

  • You willup-sell to deliver added value to the client and cross-sell to promote products and services from other AstroLabs business units.

  • You will attend networking events to promote our services.

  • You will manage partner relationships to ensure client satisfaction.

  • You will prepare and present monthly sales reports.

  • You will share insights with the marketing team to improve performance and enhance lead quality.

  • You will devise strategies and propose promotions and initiatives to drive the sales process.

A Day in the Life

A typical day as a Business Development Manager starts with managing incoming leads on our CRM and conducting virtual or in-person meetings to understand client needs and present tailored setup or expansion plans. You update the CRM system, stay informed on regulatory changes in the KSA market, and prepare necessary documentation for the business setup process. Midday involves researching new business opportunities, crafting recommendations, and attending networking events to promote AstroLabs. It may also include attending a training session with a mentor to help drive your development.In the afternoon, you liaise with clients to update them on their application status, manage partner relationships, and explore cross-selling opportunities. You finish the day by analyzing data for sales reports, sharing insights with the marketing team, and proposing strategies to our Head of Sales to drive the sales process, ensuring ongoing growth and success.

Job requirements

Technical Skills

  • You have 4+ years of sales experience in a KPI-focused, outcome-driven environment.

  • You are proficient in using a CRM system for managing and organizing prospects.

  • You have the ability to research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, potential customers, partnerships, and additional products and services

  • You are skilled in data analysis and forecasting.

  • You have high attention to detail in creating, reviewing, and managing documents and databases.

  • You possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills (additional languages are a plus).

Key Qualifications

  • You have a history of speaking with and pitching to senior stakeholders (CEOs, Managing Directors, etc).

  • You have a proven track record of achieving results and exceeding targets; you are results-oriented.

  • You are passionate about your own development, demonstrated by your curiosity and ability to implement what you learn.

  • You have experience in business setup/company formation (preferred).

  • You are able to manage clients independently.

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills; you are a natural “people person” with enthusiasm and a “make it happen” attitude.

  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage projects from start to finish.

  • You demonstrate integrity, dependability, ownership, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.

  • You are able to represent the business with a professional and positive attitude at all times.
