How my time was at Columbus State University overall it was a great experience. I have not yet had a chance to see the whole campus, but my orientation was outstanding! Columbus State University orientation was a great way to find what major I will be studying, and where most of my classes will be. I got to meet some of my professors and my advisors for my next school year. What I like most about Columbus State University is the diverse programs it has for their students. It is a small school so you will be able to get to talk and know your professors on a deeper level so they can help you boost your career. It has many amazing programs like SAC, (Student Active Counsil) blue kappa, and many more. I feel like Columbus State University is a welcoming place where you can be yourself and bloom into a better person. Based on the orientation the only thing I would like to see change is the meal plan or the cafeteria so students can eat for free.

My time at CSU, was one to remember. Being that my freshman year experience was cut in half due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, I did online school for the rest of my freshman spring semester and sophom*ore school year. None the less, many professors tried to help the best way they could when this occurred to improve success rates in the classroom. Professors are kind. If you stay connected and talk to your professors, they will help you. Get out on campus and get involved. You will truly feel the spirit and environment of CSU from being involved! There's plenty of people/cliques on campus for you to find the group you belong with. One thing that stuck out to me and I am glad they had this, is how big the gaming competitions/clubs are. There's an organization/club for just about anything. Don't be shy! be yourself and have fun!

I really enjoy my schooling experience, but I feel as if that's because I'm more outgoing than the normal student. Sometimes there's moments where I wish the school could do more to boost student engagement but as of late the school has definitely been trying. If the students engage more this will be a hidden gem of a university.
