Eh this episode gave me a weird feeling with all the background storytelling.
Didn't really get the "feels" part much although it's kinda nice to learn about Houhou. The girl is so weird that I can't help but want to understand her more. Even back then, it didn't seem like Houhou's personality changed much. I'm sure she feels the burden of having to kill someone.

Honestly like the story just sad that the animation and art is so poor it didn't get the team and maybe time it deserved oh well

No way they can end this in the next episode or two... We'll have some sort of short training regime, likely a small timeskip to start of tournament, and the show will likely end sometime after that. So at least 24-26 episodes I'd think... but they could easily come up with more to tell and run this thing much longer if they wanted to.

Ahhh..... I felt the love for my Ho Ho peak in this episode. Too much of her is just the right amount! 24/10

This episode was incredibly well done and it was told so beautifully, and it made you sad but wasnt too melodramatic.

That episode was gold. It lowered the hate i had for Houhou in ep.10 and how humans are just ignorant hibitual liars. She kills bandits because you ask her too then say you dont trust her anymnore.... she just killed people for you, that aside i feel like this series should have a higher rating and just got shit on by reviews in the first 2 episodes. You shoudn't review an anime until you finish it. - Arashi

Maybe, but to be fair, the synopsis is bad, the first few episode made it hard to get a reading on what kind of show this was going to be, and the action or serious moment followed by a moment that is trying to be funny didn't help any. With that being said, I think this episode was probably the best so far.

surprisingly ok backstory, so Houhou's 'old', a bit similar situation as Utawarerumono waking up with memory issues.
All the guys were top naked.

The hypocrisy of humans is indeed a thing to witness.
This was easily the best episode so far. And there was almost no Soran in it. Double pack of greatness.
