SNOHOMISH — Karsten Sweum struck out 14 batters in 5 2/3 innings pitched and also homered as the Grizzlies handed the Timberwolves their first league loss of the season.

Bode Stevenson added a two-run homer for Glacier Peak (8-7 overall, 2-2 league).

Austin Halvorson struck out six in six innings to lead Jackson (13-2, 3-1).

ARLINGTON — Aidan O’Neil and Tanner Requa combined to strike out 10 batters, leading the Spartans over the Eagles.

Jace Graham went 2-for-4 to pace Arlington (8-7, 7-2).

Wesley Green struck out 11 in a complete-game victory for Anacortes (12-3, 9-1).

EVERETT — Bri Titus doubled, homered and drove in three runs as the Grizzlies topped the Marauders.

Sammie Christensen homered and drove in two runs and Maya Mesa also had two RBI for Glacier Peak (10-3 overall, 1-1 league).

Mariner is 2-7, 0-3.

Lake Stevens 3, Kamiak 1

LAKE STEVENS — Charli Pugmire struck out 10 and allowed one unearned run to lead the Vikings over the Knights. Alexa Bradley singled twice for Lake Stevens (12-1 overall, 2-0 league). Scarlette Chapman notched two hits and drove in a run for Kamiak (13-2, 1-2).

Snohomish 8, Marysville Getchell 5

SNOHOMISH — Abby Edwards earned the win in the circle, striking out seven in 3 1/3 innings of relief, and she also tripled to lead the Panthers to a come-from-behind victory over the Chargers.

Emery Post also smacked a triple and Camryn Sage stole three bases for Snohomish (9-5 overall, 8-0 league), which overcame a 4-2 deficit by scoring six runs across the fourth, fifth and sixth innings.

Lilyana Balgos homered to lead Marysville Getchell (5-6, 3-4).
